A father’s grief over the Saturday night slaying of RBPF Acting Station Sargeant Newton Lewis on Monday turned to rage against the criminal justice system and the men who took his son’s life.
Anthony Lewis, 69, told
Barbados TODAY he is so full of rage over the senseless killing of the first of his four children that he would also like to see the perpetrators who pumped bullets into his son’s body, evoking piercing screams throughout the neighbourhood, die as tragically as his son did.
He declared bluntly: “I feel real angry. If I had some sort of superpower, I would destroy a lot of people and that is the way I feel.
