SEATTLE – A hotspot for tourism and the Port of Call for the city’s cruise industry, Seattle’s iconic waterfront is looking to put 2020 in the rear view mirror, welcoming back out-of-towners and locals alike with summer in full swing.
On Saturday, Friends of Waterfront Seattle threw a block party of sorts on the relatively new Pier 62, complete with live music, dancing, food trucks, face painting, and a beer garden.
“This is a place to come,” said Thatcher Bailey, the executive director of FWS. “This is a place to hang out.”
