For the first time in its history, Wieza Pomot Pegow managed to win the Polish Team Championship. The event was held as a 10-team round-robin tournament in Lublin. Almost all German national players were successfully involved in various teams. 2022 has so far been an earth-shattering year for the chess world. And things continue to unfold in remarkable fashion, as the biggest-ever Olympiad is about to start in Chennai. In sporting terms, the absence of Russian and Chinese teams are a massive loss, but that is more than made up for by the excitement and commitment shown by the host country.
