WINDSOR LOCKS An Enfield man who went into a burning building to help his coworker to safety after a deadly plane crash at the Bradley International Airport in October 2019 has been awarded the Carnegie Medal.
The Carnegie Hero Fund Commission announced on March 24 that 18 individuals would receive the Carnegie Medal, awarded throughout the U.S. and Canada to those who put themselves in mortal danger to save, or try to save, the lives of others.
