MRP and Rockpoint secured a buyer with the assistance of JLL Capital Markets, which, in addition to representing the sellers in the transaction, assisted the buyer in obtaining acquisition financing for the fully leased, two-building asset in Northern Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. MRP and Rockpoint had owned Plaza East since 2010, when they purchased the HOK-designed campus from lender General Electric Co. following the previous owner’s loan default. Bolton Hospice supporter Andrea walks 398 miles in dad s memory

Andrea Martin and her dad A RADCLIFFE woman is set to walk 398 miles in memory of her dad. Andrea Martin is taking on the challenge to raise money for Bolton Hospice, which cared for her father Andrew Weir in his final days before he passed away. “Bolton Hospice was there for our family when we needed it the most and played a huge part in supporting us before, during and after our beloved dad’s death,” she said. Andrea is completing the challenge as part of the hospice’s #500faces appeal, which is seeking out 500 Hospice Heroes from the community to either raise or donate £100 over the course of 2021.

Boutique Washington, D.C. office building sold for $58.5M WASHINGTON, D.C., Jan. 6, 2021 -JLL Capital Markets announced today that it has closed the $58.5 million leasehold sale of 1717 Rhode Island, a 157,050-square-foot boutique office building in the heart of downtown Washington, D.C. JLL marketed the property on behalf of the seller, BentallGreenOak. Tritower Financial Group purchased the asset. 1717 Rhode Island provides a first-class amenity package that includes private terraces on the upper floors, a fitness center, two-story lobby and a three-level parking garage.
