An interfaith prayer service for peace in Ukraine on March 28 comes more than a month after the country was invaded by the Russian military, with devastating bombings of cities. An estimated 3.7 million Ukrainians have fled. The Archdiocese of Atlanta hosted the service.
They have family and friends in both countries. They worry their family and friends in Ukraine will be killed, while they’re upset that many in Russia believe Putin’s lies about the invasion.
