Darci L. Bevington, 43, of Kokomo, passed away at 4:05 a.m. on Monday, December 28, 2020. She was born March 1, 1977, in Kokomo, to Milton D. and Patricia Ann (Mennen) Bevington.Â
Darci graduated from Western High School where she played the oboe and clarinet in the band, performed with the color guard, and sang in the choir. She also worked at McDonaldâs during high school and was a member of the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Kokomo. Due to her disabilities following an accident, she had been a resident of Kokomo Healthcare since 1995.
For seventeen years, Darci lived life to the fullest, but for the last 26 ½ years, Darci lived with limited movement and was unable to communicate verbally due to a car accident, followed by a brain bleed and stroke five months later. Darci had quite a few volunteers who gave her range of motion exercising and friendship every other week on a rotating basis, and we found that to be a beautiful and meaningful min
