Ita Buttrose s niece Lizzie has been rushed to hospital after suffering an unusual accident involving a cow and a swimming pool.
The former Sydney socialite shared a photo of herself inside an ambulance and sucking on a pain relief whistle to Instagram on Tuesday.
Buttrose, who recently escaped Sydney for a farm in Far North Queensland s Port Douglas, said the incident happened after one of her cows fell into her pool.
The former party girl said her dogs jumped in afterwards and she immediately dove in and attempted to rescue the cow.
