N.J. man killed after being hit by vehicle at underground street-racing meet in Texas, authorities say

A 35-year-old New Jersey man was one of two people killed in Houston when a speeding vehicle illegally street racing struck another car and sent it careening into a crowd on Sunday night, authorities said.
Roger Glover was hit by a parked Chevrolet Malibu that was pushed into a group of spectators after it was slammed by a Chevrolet Camaro traveling more than 100 mph, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.
Glover, of Maple Shade, was pronounced dead at the scene. One of the other people hit a teenage boy was brought to a local hospital and later pronounced dead while a second teenage boy was critically injured, Gonzalez said.
