The Crusaders have lost their back-up to Codie Taylor for the upcoming Super Rugby season 27 January 2021
Andrew Makalio will miss the entirety of the 2021 campaign with a neck injury.
Makalio suffered the injury playing for Tasman in last year s Mitre10 Cup and requires surgery.
Assistant coach Scott Hansen says Makalio is in good spirits.
