Monday marks thirty years since the blizzard of 1993 – dubbed by meteorologists as "The Storm of the Century" in the '90s – debilitated much of the Delaware Valley.
CBS 3's Eyewitness News has hired Bill Kelly as the station's new chief meteorologist. Kelly, a Bucks County native, most recently worked at WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C., With the addition of Kelly, meteorologist Kate Bilo will move to the station's 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. newscasts on weekdays. Kelly will take over the 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts in addition the 10 p.m. newscast on CW Philly.
