MADNESS: The man who swam in the river Severn at Worcester today A PHOTO has been released of the mad swimmer who jumped off Worcester s main river bridge in just his boxer shorts. The man, who described as mad by one onlooker, is pictured wading through floodwater this afternoon after he was seen jumping off the bridge at lunchtime. Officers, who are concerned for his welfare, have reviewed the CCTV in the area. It is believed he swam up the river towards Diglis where it is understood he got out of the water and then walked along Severn Street. Inspector Andrew Holliday said: “Officers attended the river to try and locate the man along with the ambulance service and fire service.

Lomu bought the house for just over $1m at the end of 1999, when he was just 25. He sold the property at the end of 2003, not long before he underwent a successful kidney transplant. At the time he was living with his second wife, Fiona, whom he married in 2003.
A heartbroken pensioner has blasted heavy-handed police after officers stormed her home armed with riot shields and tasers to seize her gentle little dog.
Carole Roberts, 72, claims officers confiscated her beloved pet pooch Dylan under the Dangerous Dogs Act even though he wouldn t hurt a fly .
She said 12 police officers turned up on her doorstep in Ronkswood, Worcester, to forcibly take Dylan on Friday.
