Drinker Robert Daniels died in hospital just hours after collapsing outside his flat.
The 56-year-old had also fallen on two other occasions in the five days leading up to his death.
He passed away at the Royal Stoke University Hospital after paramedics had been called to Drakeford Court, Norton, on April 25.
