Federal prosecutors and defense attorneys made their final pitches to jurors Friday in the public corruption trial of Andrew Gillum and Sharon Lettman-Hicks.
“This case is about what happens when you put a target on someone’s back,” his attorney said. “And then they twist and they force the evidence in the direction of the targets.”
The trial of Andrew Gillum and Sharon Lettman-Hicks appears on track to begin April 17, though uncertainty remains because of a possible new indictment.
