Police share details after abducted New York children were found in Alabama
(WBNG/WROC) Two children forcibly taken from their foster home in Greece, N.Y. on Monday were found safe in Alabama Wednesday evening.
Greece Police Chief Andrew Forsythe said 3-year-old Shekeria Cash and 5-year-old Dmitri Cash are in police custody and are no longer in danger.
The children were found in Montgomery, Ala., tracked by a vehicle that was rented out of Rochester, N.Y. Chief Forsythe said one person is in custody in Alabama. He could not release the identity of the person in custody due to the investigation.
