Market wrap: Miners strong, but vaccine news muddies the water

The local sharemarket entered the Australia Day holiday at a fresh 11-month high as the major miners offset niggling concerns around the impending rollout of a coronavirus vaccine.
The ASX 200 added 0.4 per cent in extremely light trade on Monday to finish at 6824.7 - its highest since February 25 last year.
