The Marine Industries of South Florida, owner of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, claims the company seeking to redevelop the Bahia Mar yachting resort misstated its support of a planned multi-million dollar makeover. In a lawsuit filed in Broward Circuit Court, the maritime organization, which uses the resort as a base of operations for its show, claims a gag provision in its lease with Rahm Bahia Mar LLC prevents it from stetting the record straight, an allegation the company denies.
