Kids Above All does exactly what its name implies. It puts kids first. Founded in 1894 as an orphanage in Lake Bluff, the organization has seen a diverse expansion of its services and a variety of name changes. But through the years one thing has remained the same its dedication to helping kids ages 24 and younger dealing with trauma, poverty and injustice.

DANBURY, CT Adeline Gallo Dohan, 96, of Danbury passed away peacefully on Friday, May 21st at The Village at Brookfield Commons. A loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Adeline Addie was born on December 10, 1924, in Danbury, to Antonio and Luigina (Scalzo) Gallo, both of Decollatura, Italy. She attended St. Joseph s School and Danbury High School, graduated from Central State University of CT, received her teaching certificate, and went on to receive her Masters degree from Fairfield University.
