PETESRBURG – The City of Petersburg is mourning the loss of a high-ranking official after he passed away from a unexpected illness earlier in this month. Frank Poulin was the city’s Director of Neighborhood Services. He was rushed to the hospital after he suddenly started having heart problems and later passed away from heart failure on April 9. Poulin was 39.
His colleagues gathered with family members on arbor day to plant a tree in his honor. A crowd of about 60 people formed a semi-circle around the Arbor Day sapling. Poulin was remembered by all as a lively character and a strong mentor who could always add a quip or a smile to conversations.
