It is understood that production at Medical Wire & Equipment Ltd has been hit at the firm’s offices and factory on the Leafield Industrial Estate. One employee, who did not wish to be named, said that only 36 staff out of 150 had turned up for work on Tuesday. It is understood the first cases were reported at a staff meeting last week. Managers allegedly told all staff to wipe down the tables and to continue working.
