SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Good morning and happy Tuesday! We are tracking a warm day across the ArkLaTex ahead of our next major weather maker Wednesday night and Thursday. Temperatures out ahead of the storm will be in the mid to upper 60s both today and Wednesday. While showers are likely on Wednesday, most of the rain is now is expected to move through the region on Thursday. There is growing potential for a some isolated severe weather as well on Thursday. Behind the front expect much cooler weather both Friday and Saturday before our temperatures begin to rebound.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Good Monday morning! I hope all of you had an amazing Christmas holiday! As we kick off the final week of 2020 we are tracking several days potentially with rain and the last day of the year could be especially wet. Showers are going to be possible today as a stalled frontal boundary will keep the clouds and the scattered showers around throughout your Monday. Tuesday will be dry with highs in the 60s. But beginning on Wednesday and lasting through early Friday we are tracking very unsettled weather as a developing area of low pressure will be moving through the region.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Good morning and happy Friday! We are dealing with widespread frost currently across the ArkLaTex so plan on giving yourself a few extra minutes this morning. Nonetheless we are expecting a warmer day for the region with highs close to 60. Clouds though, will quickly roll in during the evening hours and rain will move in overnight. Saturday is looking like a washout for many in the region with drier weather on Sunday. Comfortable temperatures will be the big headline as we kick off the week of Christmas, but we are tracking a strong cold front on way late Wednesday that will usher in much colder temperatures.

We are dealing with a very cold start to the day across the ArkLaTex as everyone is seeing subfreezing temperatures with some localities getting down into the mid 20s. The good news is that ample sunshine will help our temperatures rebound nicely during the afternoon hours. This is the start of a general warming trend we will see for the region that will last into the week of Christmas. We are still though expecting a wet Saturday for the region as a developing disturbance will bring scattered showers throughout the first half of your weekend.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Good morning and happy Wednesday! After dealing with the cold rain for most and snow for some last night we are tracking slowly improving weather for the ArkLaTex Wednesday. Cloud and cover and mist this morning will slowly give way to clearing skies in the afternoon. We should stay dry for the rest of the work week as temperatures begin to rebound. We are tracking another chance for rainfall on Saturday as a front moves through the region. Looking ahead to the week of Christmas we are expecting to at least start off the week on a warm and sunny note.
