Courtesy of Vivace Trio   Updated 12/16/2020 6:20 PM Norris Cultural Arts Center s A Baker s Dozen Holiday Festival continues online Tuesday, Dec. 15 with Tessera Winds performing Up on the Housetop and Joy to the World and the Vivace Trio playing Christmastime Is Here and the Carol of the Bells. The 13-day festival, which started Dec. 12, continues daily through Dec. 23. Each new daily episode is available for viewing at norrisculturalarts.com starting at noon, and remains available through the end of the Christmas season. On Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, the festival will culminate in a combined reprise of all 12 performances in a multigenre holiday special. All of the performances were recorded at the historic Baker Community Center.

He’s used to making a quarter of his income in December. After some brainstorming, the Blendermann family decided to put their musical talents to use, creating “Blenderful Music” holiday phone greetings. “I have a list of 10 favorites. I say they’re $3 dollars apiece because they’re the simple ones, and the ones I know that will work,” the musician said. “But for $5 dollars, you can pick your own.” Their children, 14-year-old Adam and 11-year-old Samantha, join the parents at the piano to create personal holiday greetings that are left on voicemails. They play and sing everything from holiday classics to “Happy Birthday.”
