Dennis took the lead from early leader Alex Lynn and went on to win by just over 5-seconds. Nyck de Vries grabbed second in the late going over Lynn who had to settle for the final podium spot. André Lotterer and René Rast rounded out the top five. The win moved Dennis up to third in the championship standings just two points behind the leader Sam Bird and the top five are now within five markers of the leader. That tightening of the points was aided by a miserable day from Bird who crashed out on the first lap.
