No. 11 Arkansas hosts the NCAA South Central Region meet on Friday, racing over a 6,000m distance at 10:30 a.m. on the Agri Park course. The Razorbacks have an 11-meet winning streak in the region meet and have claimed the South Central team title 26 times dating back to 1982.
Razorback junior Isabel Van Camp won the individual title in the NCAA South Central Region on Friday, covering the 6,000m distance on the Dale Watts Course in 20 minutes, 1.9 seconds, as Arkansas claimed the team title for the 11th consecutive year.
Arkansas track and field had a pair of Razorbacks – Nastassja Campbell and Lauren Gregory – named to the 2021-22 Academic All-America Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
