The City of Terrell reached the finish line of another election season during the early evening hours of June 10 as Phil Robison fended off incumbent Andreia Reese in a runoff to determine who would represent District 5 on the Terrell City Council.
DAVID KAPITAN editor@terrelltribune.com Eligible voters residing in Terrell’s District 5 were officially placed on the clock again this week, getting another opportunity to shape the city’s future by casting a ballot in the runoff election between incumbent Andreia Reese and challenger Phil Robison after the May 6 election cycle concluded with no candidate receiving more than 50 percent of the vote. Robison narrowly missed out to secure his place on the council once votes were tabulated during the May 6 cycle, finishing with 49.56 percent of the votes cast.
