Romania s SeedBlink aims to raise 3 mln euro for European expansion SeedBlink board

BUCHAREST (Romania), May 25 (SeeNews) - Romanian investment platform in technology start-ups SeedBlink said on Tuesday it aims to raise 3 million euro ($3.66 million) in a Series A round in order to finance its expansion into Europe.
Out of the total amount, some 500,000 euro are to be raised through equity crowd investing, SeedBlink said in a press release.
The listing will be on SeedBlink s own platform, on May 27, and investors will be able to participate with tickets starting at 2,500 euro. The main investor is a major VC in the region, who will be joined by other institutional investors, as well as by the SeedBlink community. The name of the lead funder will be announced after the due diligence process is completed, the company added.

The money will be used over the next 18 months for the launch campaign, production, marketing, and sales.
Scooterson addresses both consumer customers and the business segment: food delivery companies, couriers, large residential centers, tourist centers (especially resorts), university campuses, industrial parks, golf clubs (as an alternative to golf buggies).
Scooterson was founded in California in 2016 by Mihnea de Vries (CEO) – a Romanian entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in technology, marketing, and video production – and Deepansh Jain (CTO), a serial entrepreneur from India. Mihnea de Vries (51 years old) founded 1996 the company EuroNet, the first internet provider in Arad and one of Romania’s first.

Benefito Mobile, a virtual mobile operator (MVNO), targets 150,000 euros on SeedBlink, the largest crowdfunding platform for tech companies in Southeast Europe. The listing of Benefito Mobile, a service launched by two of the most reputable specialists in Romanian telecom, will take place on Tuesday, January 26.
In exchange for this funding, the founders of Benefito Mobile will sell 10,000 shares representing 5.3% of the capital.
The investment will finance the launch in the second quarter of 2021 of the first prepaid card in Romania through which customers receive mobile credit when purchasing products and services.
