What would an all-electric Lamborghini look like?

Bright yellow cars? Raucous V12 engines? Italian flare? Perhaps that scene from The Wolf of Wall Stree, when DiCaprio attempts to drive a white Countach whilst high as a kite? Maybe it’s all those things and more, but one thing won’t be on your mind: electric power. In 2019 Lamborghini showed off a little glimpse into its future with its hybrid-powered Sián. At $3.7 million a piece, a glimpse is all it will be for the majority of us, but still, we can all enjoy it when it looks the way it does. Lamborghini E_X Electric Hypercar Study Makes Us Feel Hopeful About The EV Future

It’s no secret that the Volkswagen Group is eager to have all its brands participate in its electric revolution – and this will, sooner or later, affect Lamborghini too. This illustration by professional designer Andrea Ortile gives us a view into a very interesting future. The Lamborghini E X is a single-seater that, allegedly, takes much inspiration from Lamborghini’s past. According to Ortile, Marcello Gandini’s influence is all over this concept and both the Lamborghini Countach and the Lancia Stratos Zero are in the car’s DNA. Perhaps the most attention-grabbing aspect is the lack of conventional windows, as they have been replaced by a body-color perforated film that helps the car achieve a no-glass effect. In some of the drawings, the designer has been careful to show you that you can only just see through the car from the outside.

What more could you ask from a vehicle you use for going to and from work, with an occasional stop at the supermarket for grocery shopping or at the school to pick up the kids? But not all cars are like that. Some are meant to provide excitement. You re supposed to feel sheer exhilaration while driving them, and that s about more than just power alone. You need an exotic exterior and interior design, a low seating position, excellent handling, and, perhaps just as important as all the rest, a thunderous soundtrack. An EV can potentially cover all aspects, except for the last one.
