Im pleased to provide you an update on the first three months of operating the Transit Center. As you know, we open the Transit Center to the public on july 1 st and resumed full bus operations by august 12th. Im happy to report that with close coordination and partnership with the transit operators has resulted in a good experience for transit riders. Peak hours are being managed well and transit riders are now accustomed to the Transit Center and navigating the bus plaza. We will continue to work with partners to improve the experience of the transit riders , including improving wayfinding signage as appropriate. Our security personnel and ambassadors have reported only minor issues and continue to be welcoming and reassuring to transit riders and the general public. And recognizing brandons mother, louise lee, has been a dedicated staff member at the department of Public Health for the last 40 years. Alongside supervisor haney we have been advocating on this issue for over a month. In that month, Community Members have come together to raise funds and to send a delegation to the philippines to visit brandon, including supervisor haney and to organize an incredible breadth of grassr509s advocacy, fueled by hope, anger and love. In that month we havent seen enough from our federal government or national media. In addition to security for brandon, and an investigation, with this resolution we are calling on congress to end u. S. Military aid to dutertes regime until the extradition killings and and to provide immediate support to bring brandon back to San Francisco, away from his assailants and that he can receive the medical care that he needs and deserve. Goals. Fifty of the contracts of 45 million in fiscal 1718 were awarded to those and a total of 45 million. Of those, 87 were professional services, and 43 in construction. Nineteen was local participation. Workforce participation, and 905 San Francisco residents that performed over 298,000 hours. I wanted to say, just to point out the housing efforts really are a result of the joint effort of everybody at the ocii staff, so i just want to point out, everybody is doing their part. It is totally a Collaborative Group effort. The legal team, the project area managers, contract compliance, and our real estate folks, and then i pointed out our housing staff who are here. If you could talk a little bit about that too. So the exploratory in terms of the structure, they obviously because they rotate through on a trimester system. In sixth grade it will look different than seventh and eighth. In terms of the world language, we are in an exploratory phase with our exploratory wheel. So what we really are thinking about is how do we ensure that we are basing the world courses, so that what we are doing in those courses is getting students ready for the next level. We think it is a step in the right direction. It will be offered in cases where students want to take an elective. I think it is for students who entered, but for the sake of approximating redundant, students who entered in pathways in kinder and first grade then were able to take it through the eighth grade. And parents or students who didnt make that choice for their children didnt make that until high school. Its the first step to change that, but the first step to make that more equitable for a
