Telangana announces closure of theatres:- The coronavirus spread is huge all over and the second wave of coronavirus is haunting the nation. There are talks that the country would head for a lockdown but the Prime Minister Narendra Modi hinted that there would be no second lockdown in the country and he urged the people to be cautious and careful. He also asked the states to take their individual calls on the lockdown or night curfew. The government of Andhra Pradesh announced 50 percent occupancy in the state but there are no traces of night curfew or lockdown in Andhra Pradesh. A total number of 8987 new infections are reported in the country in the last 24 hours in the state.

Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethuathi starrer Master has been ruling the box office since its release in the theatres on January 13, extensively cashing in on the festive holidays of Lohri, Makar Sankranti, and Pongal.
Even with just 50 per cent occupancy in theatres, the film reportedly crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in just three days, grossing over Rs 50-crore in Tamil Nadu alone.
