Iconic Houston restaurant uncorks wine dinner for worthy women s cause

Photo by Michelle Watson One of Houston’s most prestigious restaurants recently wined and dined a top-tier crowd for a worthy women’s cause. Tony’s, the celebrated palace of posh dining, hosted an elegant gathering of more than 130 locals for The Women’s Fund’s sixth-annual
Wine Dinner .
Joanna and Brad Marks, the dinner raised more than $135,000 to ensure Houston-area women and girls have free access to tools they need to be advocates for their health through classes, workshops, lectures, and publications focused on physical, mental, financial, emotional, health, and wellness.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. Dogwood Arts Spring Featured Gardens event will be open April 17-18, 2021 for visitors to tour two privately-owned estates.
The Anderson Estate at 2723 Smallwood Drive sits on a hill overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains. The owners, who are avid hostas fans, have planted more than 500 hosta varieties as well as an assortment of azaleas, camellias and rhododendrons.
Just down the hill from the hostas, visitors will enter what the owners call their enchanted forest, which features some whimsical moss and tree fixtures.
It s the first year the Anderson Estate has been highlighted during the event.
