The contractor will start the demolition of a vacant office building on the site in the new year, paving the way for the construction of developer Cole Waterhouse’s 28-storey Salford apartment block.
The main phase of construction of the 290-apartment development, next to Anchorage tram stop in Salford Quays, will begin in May and completion is scheduled for July 2023, according to a construction management statement prepared by Domis.
Architect Chapman Taylor designed the L-shaped development, which features 4,000 sq ft of commercial space as well as public realm.
There will be two landscaped terrace gardens for residents, on the mezzanine and at level 19. The rooftop penthouse apartments will have private terraces.
