Each and every day new mobile games are hitting the App Store, and so each week we put together a big old list of all the best new releases of the past seven days. Back in the day the App Store would showcase the same games for a week, and then refresh those features each Thursday. Because of that developers got into the habit of releasing their games throughout Wednesday or very early Thursday in order to hopefully get one of those coveted features spots. Nowadays the App Store refreshes constantly, so the need for everyone to release all on the same day has diminished. Still, we’ve kept our weekly Wednesday night format as for years that’s the time people knew to check TouchArcade for the list of new games. Ancestors Legacy is free on Steam with a new Peasant Edition

If youâre stuck in a bit of a game drought and looking for something new to pass the time, then Ancestors Legacy may just be your jam as the developers, Destructive Creations, have now launched a Free Peasant Edition thatâs, well⦠free. Itâs essentially an extended demo, but gives you full access to its multiplayer and a few single player missions.
Ancestors Legacy is a Medieval RTS game where players can play as four different factions: Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, Germans, and Slavs. You have access to all of them in the Free Peasant Edition, but you also get 4 single player missions from the Viking campaign too.

Destructive Creations announced the release of Ancestors Legacy Free Peasant Edition on PC (Steam). This version of the real-time strategy game is essentially an extended trial that gives players the full breadth of multiplayer content while delivering a sliver of the single player available in the full game.
Ancestors Legacy Free Peasant Edition includes all 17 multiplayer maps and four single-player missions from the Vikings campaign. Take command of the Viking nation and conquer enemy strongholds in cinematic battles. Multiplayer also offers access to the four basic nations: Viking, Anglo-Saxon, German, and Slav, all free. Challenge opponents in 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 battles. Add optional A.I. allies or enemies to craft the perfect match.
