Sources in the African National Congress (ANC) national working committee (NWC) have told Eyewitness News that officials said they didn’t want a repeat of their handling of non-security upgrades at former President Jacob Zuma’s home.
A criminal complaint was laid against the ANC leader, with former spy boss, Arthur Fraser, claiming that millions of dollars were stolen from the president s property.
Tony Yengeni suggested that Cyril Ramaphosa must appear before Parliament’s ethics committee and step aside to allow space for investigations to continue without any perceptions of interference
Eyewitness News understands that while Tony Yengeni placed the matter on the agenda of Monday s national working committee meeting, the ANC’s top officials are yet to dig into the claims.
