ANAMBRA is one of the few states in Nigeria that are gifted with a large pool of wealthy individuals. One account said Anambra has the largest number of millionaires per square kilometer in the country.
Currently, some of these wealthy individuals have taken up philanthropic projects to better the lot of the less privileged in their communities. However, a host of them are yet to look in this direction, a development that prompted Governor Willie Obiano to solicit more grassroots support and assistance in the provision and maintenance of social amenities in the state.
