Netflix unveils Spanish drama, reality Global streaming giant Netflix has unveiled its latest slate of original dramas and unscripted series in Spain, including a local remake of a Turkish drama blocked in its homeland. Diego Ávalos Si lo habido (If Only) is a series created by Turkish screenwriter Ece Yörenç. The Boomerang TV production tells the story of a 30-year-old woman disappointed in her 10-year marriage and family life, who is able to go back in time and make different life choices. Netflix originally commissioned the series in Turkey but pulled it amidst government pressure to remove a gay character from the script. It has now commissioned a Spanish version instead, adapted by Irma Correa and starring Megan Montaner.
