Stable Hall at the Pearl, San Antonio's newest live music venue, made its public debut Saturday with a free performance by Texas singer-songwriters Rob Baird and Angel White. In addition to state-of-the-art sound and light design, the 1,000-seat music hall features six full-service bars, a fixed-seat mezzanine, hay loft-style balconies and a large “jewel-box” stage.
While the most important thing about a restaurant is the food itself, there's something to be said for a spot with excellent ambiance. Fortunately, San Antonio has plenty of dining destinations that serve up delicious dishes in beautiful surroundings — perfect for a date night, special occasion or any time you want to enjoy a meal with a bit of added panache.
Thanks to its exquisite Spanish colonial-revival architecture, a Terrell Hills home recently listed for just under $2.5 million looks like it was constructed during the gilded age of San Antonio architecture. However, despite its time-capsule appearance, the property was actually built in 2005.
