Winchester residents air complaints about Newfield Road dog training facility expansion plan

WINSTED Neighbors have aired their concerns about the expansion plan submitted by a Newfield Road dog training facility and the Planning & Zoning Commission could vote on the proposal next month.
After comments and questions from residents and commissioners were heard, the hearing was closed this week, meaning that the commission is likely to vote on the plan in May.
The Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities expansion plan, which calls for an additional building on the 8-acre property, has drawn criticism from neighbors who say it doesn’t belong on Newfield Road at all.
