When Palouse Care Network opened its second location in Pullman near WSU on Monday, Planned Parenthood became concerned for community members’ access to accurate information on abortion care. Although PCN, a faith-based organization associated with WISH Medical, offers ultrasounds, post-abortion treatment and information about unplanned pregnancies, the clinic does not provide abortions itself or refer.
Palouse Care Network opened a second location in Pullman on Monday, creating opportunities for people in the community to utilize resources, like counseling and women’s reproductive health exams, without driving to the Moscow location. The Moscow PCR, a faith-based nonprofit organization, has been available for 40 years and provides resources that empower healthy relationship decisions.
