What is International Women s Day?
International Women s Day was first honored on a global level in 1911 in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. The United Nations officially adopted the holiday in the 70s and started the tradition of an annual theme in 1996. This year s motif is #ChoosetoChallenge, an opportunity for individuals to reflect on our thoughts and
