Article content Ditch the Idea Fund I can save the Manitoba government 25 million dollars today. Ditch the Teacher’s Idea Fund. I have been an educator for 24 years. I worked rurally and in the City of Winnipeg and loved both experiences. I have taught from K-12 and been a counsellor and occupied the roles of vice-principal and principal. I have three degrees, including a Master’s in educational administration. In every role that I have occupied in education, I have experienced collaboration, creativity and innovation. I have been part of groups of professionals who create, share and evaluate the impact of our collective work. I take my responsibilities as an educational leader seriously. I do not want to fail our children. I must speak up. I can save you 25 million dollars today. Ditch the idea fund. Don’t pay us for what we have always done freely. I recommend our provincial government invest that money in educating themselves about which metrics truly evaluate the success
