Three Alexandria DECA students were recently rewarded for their work with Habitat for Humanity.
Ben Borden, Lilly Thul and Erik Hedstrom partnered with Habitat for Humanity’s Cardinal Alumni Build for a project for their business club and it paid off in a big way. Because of the partnership, State Farm Insurance Campus Chapter awarded Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County with a $20,000 matching grant – one of only four grants in the whole nation.
