Illinois Covering Child Care Assistance Program Payments Through February
(Springfield, IL)  Officials say the state of Illinois will cover all Child Care Assistance Program payments through February. The CCAP helps low-income working families access high-quality childcare. The state will be using funds allocated through the federal CARES Act to cover all eligible days of CCAP payments through the end of February. The initiative will provide relief for providers where enrollment has dipped because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
