A 45-year-old man identified as Paul Ndedigwe has been sentenced to double life imprisonment by the Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court for defiling his neighbour’s two children. The children were aged six and seven. The court said that the convict’s name would be registered in the Sexual Offenders Register as maintained by Lagos State and that both sentences would run concurrently. The trial judge, Justice Abiola Soladoye in her ruling held that the prosecution proved two of the three counts brought against the defendant.
