Because as he said, that would hurt the military. Yeah. This funding issue is really going to be the core of the debate with the Defense Authorization act this week. As you said, he had to rote against the continuing resolution. He said these shortterm budget issues really dont help the military. They need longterm planning, and they need more money. And the c. R. Vote this week just extends the current fiscal years funding to the ending of december to the middle of december. So what were going to be see anything the Defense Authorization debate this week is, basically, his plea for a pretty significant increase in defense funding. Its a 692 billion bill, its a little bit more than what the house wants and significantly more than what the president has laid out for base defense funding. So these are going
