The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) says it will collaborate with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) to safeguard critical information infrastructure (CII) and prevent data leaks, including opening a single channel to receive notifications about cyber-incidents.
The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) is planning to expand the enforcement of its standard framework of security requirements from the current 60 organisations of critical information infrastructure (CII) to 120 by the end of next year, said AVM Amorn Chomchoey, deputy secretary-general of NCSA.
The Ministry of Digital Economy and the National Cyber Security Agency has jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cybersecurity cooperation with Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the leading global ICT infrastructure and IT solutions provider, with the purpose of increasing cybersecurity skills for Thai IT personnel through promoting Huawei's E-Lab online learning platform, organizing competition projects and Huawei training courses.
