Two constables were killed and three sustained bullet injuries in an encounter with the extremists of banned Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee (TSPC) in Chatra. Chief minister Champai Soren condemned the attack on the policemen and ordered officials to ensure the best treatment for the injured policemen. The government stands with the families of the martyred constables and will provide them with all possible help. The chief minister also said that the martyrdom of these cops will not go in vain and the govt is taking all necessary steps to control the extremists.
