A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja has granted bail to the Convener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore in the sum of N20million.
The second to fifth defendants were also admitted to bail in the sum of N1million and one surety in like sum.
Chief Magistrate Mabel Segun-Bello while ruling on the bail application on Monday admitted Sowore to bail in the sum of N20million and two sureties in like sum.

Police authorities in Kaduna State have deployed more personnel along the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Highway in the north-western state.
The Public Relations Officer of the police command, Muhammad Jalige, who disclosed this on Saturday explained that the deployment was part of efforts to curb the menace of banditry, kidnapping, and other heinous activities in the general area.
He noted that the deployed personnel included conventional police officers, undercover Operatives, as well as operatives of the Police Mobile Force (PMF), Operation Puff Adder, and the Anti-Kidnapping Unit.
Jalige stated that the carefully planned deployment of the police personnel was to create a workable synergy between intelligence and striking units of the force.

He added, “So, when there is a second lockdown, we are citizens, we must respect the Federal Government’s directives.
“When there is any announcement, we will come back to the drawing board immediately and review the process and see what we have achieved so far, and the challenges.”

The minister, however, did not specifically state if the enrolment exercise will be suspended as the ultimatum issued to telecommunications operators to disconnect Subscriber Identity Modules (SIMs) without NIN draws near.
