2020: Year In Review - PT.2 News 180 days after the PSA World Tour and PSA Challenger Tour were both suspended due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, professional squash returned to action in September. You can take a look back at the first part of our 2020 review right here, where we looked back at the first three months of the calendar year. In the second part of our 2020 review, we take a look at the last four months of the year, as both the PSA World Tour and PSA Challenger Tour made a tentative, but successful, return despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

ISLAMABAD: Top seed Tayyab Aslam and Madina Zafar won the men and women titles respectively after nail-biting contests in the Pakistan International Squash Tour­nament here at Mushaf Squash Complex on Friday. In men’s final, both Tayyab and his smart opponnet Nasir Iqbal exhibited excellent show of skills and gave tough time to each others from start to end in five sets that lasted for 68 minutes. Tayyab took a good start and won the first set 11-7. But in next two sets, he was supervised to see Nasir Iqbal’s aggressive game. Nasir won next both sets in fashion 11-6 and 11-3. However, in fourth set once again both players played aggressively but inform Tayyab managed to finish 12-10 to push the match into decider, where again after close contest he managed to win 13-11 set and final. Tayyab, Nasir set up Pakistan International Squash final Sports December 11, 2020 ISLAMABAD: Leading players Tayyab Aslam and Nasir Iqbal set up an intriguing final in the $12,000 Pakistan International Squash Tournament after recording comprehensive wins in the semi-finals here at the Mushaf Squash Complex Thursday. The two versatile players made it to the final with straight game victories in the respective semi-finals. Unseeded Nasir staged yet another upset victory beating 4th seed Amaad Fareed 11-4, 11-7, 11-5 in just 20 minutes. Nasir’s win also exposed the standard of backup players’ game. The winner totally dominated the proceedings and was hardly seen getting stretched to full by Amaad.
