Call of Duty updates are being deployed today, February 23, and tomorrow, February 24, that implement Season 2 changes to Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, respectively. These patches are being rolled out ahead of the Season 2 launch which is scheduled for February 25. A new season means big new changes for both Black Ops and Warzone. Here are the full details.

Black Ops: Cold War. In the update, Treyarch has included a 24/7 playlist for both Raid and Crossroads. In addition, they’ve added the new Gunfight Blueprints and Dirty Bomb Duos modes. Treyarch said, “We’ve also implemented new gameplay improvements and bug fixes across MP and Zombies, including updates for Daily and Season Challenges, crash fixes in Zombies, a mini-map visibility fix for the H.A.R.P. in Hardcore, and more.” They also announced that the mid-season update would arrive on January 14th, 2021 with more MP and Zombies content.
New Playlists
Black Ops saw both Raid and Crossroads Strike receive their own 24/7 playlists that will include team deathmatch, domination, kill confirmed, and hardpoint. Both playlists will also be available in Hardcore. Gunfight Blueprints has been added to the game. In other Black Ops Cold War and Warzone news – Treyarch and Raven Software also shared some details about next week’s mid-season update which will launch on January 14
th. This update will add new content in both Zombies and multiplayer. “Get ready to drop into a massive new Fireteam map with your squad in Sanatorium, and fight for control of the nuclear codes in the all-new 6v6 MP mode, Dropkick”, the official blog reads.
“In Zombies, we’re turning the intensity up to 11 in the new Cranked mode, where every zombie killed resets the timer counting down to your demise. And in Onslaught, Raid joins the map list along with new Dark Aether intel for Zombies fans on PlayStation.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War December 10 Update Released, Patch Notes Revealed
Treyarch has released yet another update for
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and this one seems to focus on a handful of fixes for the game. Players can look forward to a number of stability improvements, the addition of Nuketown 24/7 to featured playlists, and more. Notably, a change has been made to the game s Combat Record, which now only features currently available items. This is very likely a reference to the three new weapons that appeared in the Combat Record this week, giving fans a hint at things to come when Season 1 kicks off.
