A physician who went missing from his official quarters at Kalimela community health centre (CHC) in Malkangiri district on June 1, was traced to Mysuru in Karnataka. The missing doctor, Amlan Bhoi, a native of Kandhamal, is safe and in good health. Initial findings do not show any kidnap angle. More details will be known once the team reaches Malkangiri. Police have refuted theories of rebel involvement. The parents had sought assistance in locating their son. Handwritten Maoist poster found in the verandah raised suspicions, but police dismissed the theory.
